Welcome to Victims of Crime Medical Care
Mission Statement: To be a true source of quality medical care for victims of crime.

Welcome to the Victims of Crime Medical Care (VOCMC) web site, a program of Mercy Care, a Non-profit, Public Benefit Organization. Our mission is to help victims of crime end the frustration of searching for medical providers who will evaluate, diagnose, and treat them for elective procedures, such as, pain management, cosmetic or reconstructive surgery. We are also expanding our database of providers and medical resources to include dental and psychiatric referrals.

Our goal is to help you obtain follow-up medical care. Typically, elective procedures such as pain management, plastic surgery or reconstructive surgery are not readily available to crime victims. Once qualified, victims have access to these specialties and other medical care.

When a person has been injured and is in need of medical care VOCMC can provide:

  • Medical Evaluations
  • Orthopedic Evaluations
  • Spinal Evaluations
  • Pain Management
  • Reconstructive plastic surgery
  • Follow-up Care

VOCMC has received referrals from District Attorney’s Offices in Southern California for a number of years for victims who needed medical treatment.

We have the resources to reach out to the health care provider community and identify those providers willing to make a difference in a victim’s life.

Victims of Crime Medical Care, (VOCMC) is independent of the State of California’s Victim Compensation Programs.
